
Focus On Losing Your Body Fat and Not Your Body Weight
Forget about losing weight! I’d like for you to start focusing on losing your body fat. Far too often many of our clients focus on the scale and I know that most Americans do as well. Not their fault. Years of conditioning, even by your medical doctors, suggests that you should “lose weight”. It’s no wonder we’re overweight as a society–the focus is on the wrong thing!
Your focus should be on losing body fat because weight doesn’t contribute to disease or kill people, excessive body fat does. Moreover, muscle, the weight you want to keep, is important because muscle is where body fat is burned–the more you have, the more you burn at rest. Pretty cool, huh?
